Guys can we get this to 1500?

this man summed up everything i’ve been thinking for years

I used to go to a school where the principal purposely made sure we were assigned more homework than normal so that we would be “learning” instead of “on the streets acting like hooligans”. And they wonder why that entire city is known for their drug addicted rich kids.

all this except school starts at 7.30. Up at 6 at the latest. so glad that’s behind me.

waking up at 530 hehe

I used to be at the bus stop at 5:30, and if I didn’t do any after school activities I would get off the bus at 3:30. Usually I wasn’t home until after 7, because I had an activity after school almost every day. I refused to do homework, so at least I didn’t have that problem to deal with. I did do the larger “assignments” like papers and presentations though, probably averaging out to about an hour a day. Put all of that together and you’re looking at about 15 hours a day. It probably would have been 17 if I did homework, but then I would only have 7 hours to sleep. Not anywhere near enough time…

"She brought out this humor in him, and he brought out this depth in her. There was a magical quality about them. Andrew has an ability to do emotional gravity really well. Emma’s presence is so light. Put them together and they had spontaneous grounded realism. They were so naturalistic. They never fake things." - Marc Webb

holmesandtheroman:

You driving to work. It is a cloudy morning. Suddenly, you see something step into the road.

"What is this?" you ask yourself, driving closer. As you get closer, you see that it is a chicken. It does not move for your car. It continues to walk.

Not wanting to hit the innocent bird, you swerve to miss it. You swerve into another, causing it to spin out and crash into a water tower, which collapses at impact. It falls onto several buildings, causing them to erupt into flames. People from the destroyed buildings run out into the street. More cars swerve to miss the panicked masses causing a fifty car pile-up.

You get out of your car to help a small child, but you are hit by a car and you break your leg.

"Why," you question, hearing children screaming and people wailing at the destruction.

"Why, chicken?" you ask again. "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO CROSS THE ROAD?"
